- Which shape do I need?
- LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp show your profile picture in a circle, so use Round. Tinder, Hinge and Bumble show tall portrait cards, so use Portrait 4:5.
- Why does the circle cut off the corners?
- Round avatars are a square photo shown through a circle. Keep your face in the middle and leave a little space above your head.
- What size is the download?
- A 1080 pixel wide JPEG: 1080 by 1080 for Round, 1080 by 1350 for Portrait 4:5. Each app resizes it from there.
- What makes a good profile picture?
- Your face clear at small sizes, light from in front of you, eyes visible and a plain, uncluttered background.
