Delulu

Phenomenon

Slang for delusional. Used for wishful thinking about a connection.

What it means

Delulu is internet slang derived from 'delusional,' usually used self-deprecatingly to describe ungrounded romantic optimism. 'I'm being delulu' typically means you're reading more into a situation than is warranted by the facts. The slogan 'delulu is the solulu' (delusional is the solution) is the meme version, framing irrational confidence as a feature rather than a bug.
